Loco Bench

The Loco Bench by Elite Furniture is a shared work table for office breakout areas, informal meetings and communal spaces. It offers a single surface for several people, with separate bench seats available as an option. The table and seats should be specified together if you need a complete seating arrangement.

Elite lists four table widths, from 1400 to 2000 mm. Each has an 800 mm depth, and the current maker’s product page gives a height of 740–747 mm. Choose a 25 mm MFC or oak or walnut veneer top, or a 32 mm solid oak top. The white MFC top also has a choice of contrasting edge details.

The metal frame comes in a range of finishes, including silver, black graphite and white, with further colour choices from Elite. Optional bench seats can be supplied without pads, with individual upholstered pads or with a full-length pad. Fabric choices, cable risers and cable trays are also specification options, rather than parts of every table.

The supplied project material names Loco Bench for the Prestigious International School project, where staff use shared areas to meet and take breaks. If you are planning a similar space, tell one of our experienced project consultants the room size, intended use, table width, seat options, finish choices and delivery location. They can help check the layout and current specification.

Choosing the Loco Bench

Decide how people will use it

Plan Loco Bench as a shared work or meeting table. Allow for separate seating in the layout, as the tabletop does not include fixed seats.

Choose the table size

Compare widths of 1400, 1600, 1800 and 2000 mm, all at 800 mm deep. Allow enough space for chairs, benches and circulation.

Specify the top and edge

Choose from 25 mm MFC, oak or walnut veneer, or 32 mm solid oak. Ask about the contrasting edges available for white MFC.

Select seats and fabric

Specify the optional bench seats separately. They can have no pads, individual upholstered pads or a full-length upholstered pad, with fabric selected for the project.

Plan power and cables

Ask whether optional cable risers or trays are useful for laptop work. Confirm any charging or power modules as a separate part of the specification.

Agree the final scheme

Choose a frame finish from Elite’s current range and check the floor plan, seats and intended use. Share quantities and delivery location with a project consultant.

The Loco Bench was specified for the Prestigious International School project, providing a versatile setting for staff to meet, collaborate and take breaks throughout the day. Its contemporary design and shared bench format create an informal alternative to traditional tables and seating, supporting everything from casual conversations to collaborative working within the school's communal areas.
