Privacy and cookie policy

APRÈS FURNITURE LIMITED

19 September 2026

This policy explains how Après Furniture Limited collects and uses personal information through www.apresfurniture.co.uk and in connection with enquiries, quotations and our services. It also explains the cookies and third-party technologies used on the website and the choices available to you.

1. Who is responsible for your information

Après Furniture Limited is the data controller. Our registered address is Suite D, Astor House, 282 Lichfield Road, Four Oaks, Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, B74 2UG. Our trading and correspondence address is 10 Whites Row, Coppergate House, Spitalfields, London E1 7NF.

For privacy questions or requests, contact Alex Riglea at [email protected], or write to our trading address. We handle personal information under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, as amended, and applicable privacy and electronic communications law.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide when you fill in a form, contact us, request advice or a quotation, discuss a project, or become a customer. This can include your name, organisation, contact details, project requirements, correspondence, order and delivery details, and records needed to manage our relationship. If you complete an optional survey, we also receive your responses.

Our website and its service providers process technical information, including IP addresses, browser and device details, page addresses, referral or campaign information, cookie choices and browser identifiers. These details can be personal information even when they do not contain your name.

HubSpot supports our enquiry and customer records and website forms. Where consent and browser conditions allow, an enquiry can be associated with website source and page-history information, including Google Analytics client and session identifiers. Google Analytics records website activity, such as page visits and enquiry-submission events.

We receive information directly from you and automatically through your use of the website. A colleague or representative may also supply your details in connection with a business enquiry or project. Please provide only information relevant to your request and ensure you are entitled to share another person’s details.

3. Why we use information and our lawful bases

We use information to respond to requests, prepare quotations, supply agreed services, manage customer relationships, maintain business records, protect our systems and assess website performance. The legal basis depends on the activity, as set out below.

Purposes and lawful bases

Providing information for an enquiry is voluntary. If you do not provide the contact or project details needed to handle your request, we may be unable to respond or provide the requested service.

4. Marketing choices

You can ask us to stop direct marketing at any time by emailing [email protected] or using the unsubscribe option in a marketing email. We follow the rules applying to the recipient and communication channel. Declining marketing does not stop you making an enquiry or receiving messages needed to handle a request or contract. We may retain a minimal suppression record so that we continue to respect your choice.

5. Sharing information and overseas processing

We share relevant information with providers that support our website, hosting, communications, enquiry management and analytics, and with suppliers involved in fulfilling your request. We may also share information with professional advisers or authorities where necessary, or in connection with a business sale or reorganisation, subject to applicable protections.

Our website uses Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, HubSpot forms and tracking, and Cloudflare security services, including security used by embedded providers. These providers can receive technical information when their services load. Their privacy information is linked at the end of this policy.

Providers may process information outside the UK. Restricted international transfers require a lawful transfer route, such as UK adequacy regulations or appropriate contractual safeguards and any additional protection required by law. Contact us for details of the arrangements applicable to your information. Sending us an enquiry does not constitute blanket consent to overseas processing.

6. How long we keep information

We keep personal information for no longer than necessary for its purpose. For enquiries, we consider whether the request is still active, any follow-up you have requested and the likelihood of an ongoing project. For customer and supplier records, we consider the duration of the relationship, applicable accounting and tax requirements, and the period during which records may be needed for a legal claim.

Marketing records are kept while relevant to the permitted purpose, taking account of your choices. A minimal record of an objection may be retained to prevent further marketing. Security and technical records are retained according to their operational purpose, incident-investigation needs and applicable legal requirements. Contact us if you need more detail about the retention of a particular record.

Cookie lifetimes are listed in section 10. Expiry or removal of a browser cookie does not automatically delete information already held in our enquiry records or by an analytics provider. Nor does withdrawing consent affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

7. Protecting your information

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access or disclosure. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. If you use a website account, keep its password confidential. Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information through general enquiry forms.

8. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you have rights to access your information, correct inaccurate information, request erasure, restrict processing, object to processing and receive certain information in a portable form. You can object to direct marketing at any time. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

You also have rights and safeguards where applicable in relation to solely automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects. Contact us if you have questions about how a decision involving your information was made.

To exercise your rights, email [email protected] or write to our trading address. We may need information to verify your identity or clarify your request. Requests are normally free. A reasonable fee may be charged only where the law permits it, such as for certain excessive or manifestly unfounded requests or additional copies. We normally respond within 1 month, subject to applicable timing rules and permitted extensions.

If you have a concern, please contact us so that we can try to resolve it. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/.

Other websites and changes to this policy

Links to other websites and services are governed by their own privacy notices. We will update this policy when our practices or the relevant requirements change, and notify you separately where appropriate.

9. Cookies, embedded services and your choices

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Similar technologies can also send or store information when you visit a website. We use these technologies for sessions, security, preference storage, analytics and website features.

The banner offers Accept, Decline and Manage cookies. Manage cookies lets you choose Analytics, Advertising and Functionality separately. Necessary technologies support sessions, preference storage and security. Some security cookies are set by third-party services when those services load.

Analytics and technical requests

Google Analytics cookies distinguish browsers and maintain session information. HubSpot analytics cookies support visitor and session history, which may be associated with an enquiry when you provide your details. These cookies help us understand use of the website and the sources of enquiries.

Analytics cookies are set only if you accept the Analytics category. The services that run the cookie banner, tag management and forms load on every page, so their providers receive technical information such as your IP address and the page address whatever you choose.

Functionality, advertising and embedded content

Some pages load HubSpot forms. This service can receive your IP address, browser details and the page address when loaded, including before a cookie choice. Security cookies may accompany these requests.

The Advertising category controls advertising-related consent signals sent to Google. We do not currently set separate advertising cookies.

Changing or withdrawing a choice

You can select categories while the banner is visible. To change or withdraw a choice later, use the Manage cookies control in the footer of any page, which reopens the preference panel. Alternatively, close the website’s tabs, clear cookies and site data for apresfurniture.co.uk through your browser settings, then revisit the site and choose Decline or your preferred categories. Clearing data may remove saved preferences and sign you out. You can also block cookies through your browser or contact us for help.

For an additional Google Analytics browser control, see tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Removing cookies does not erase information already received by us or a provider. You can contact us about your data rights under section 8.

10. Cookie information

The website uses the following session, preference, analytics and security cookies. Lifetimes are approximate and may restart when a cookie is updated. A session cookie normally lasts until the browser session ends. Which cookies you receive depends on the page, your choices, browser settings and security checks.
