Camden Chair

The Camden Chair by Connection is an upholstered lounge chair for reception areas, libraries and informal workplace spaces. Designed by Richard Jones, it pairs a broad seat and shaped back with timber armrests. Choose between a solid oak four-leg frame and a textured black metal frame with solid oak arms. These are separate base versions, not a single chair with interchangeable parts.

The solid oak frame comes in natural oak, black-stained oak or wenge-stained oak. The metal-frame version has a textured black base, with the same choice of finishes for its oak arms. Connection offers a range of upholstery fabrics. Both versions use foam and webbing beneath the upholstered seat. Ask for finish and fabric samples when comparing the chair with other furniture in a scheme.

The manufacturer’s brochure gives both versions a width of 700 mm, depth of 780 mm, overall height of 770 mm and seat height of 430 mm. Allow room around each chair for access and for a nearby table if the layout calls for one. The dimensions apply to the chair, not to the surrounding space.
