The University of Law

Situated in the heart of the City of London, The University of Law is the largest specialist corporate laws school in the UK, offering study paths in postgraduate law and professional development courses.

The University of Law visited several Clerkenwell Showrooms to develop an idea of products they were drawn to. Once Big Frog were introduced to them, we discussed their needs for the new break out study spaces within their Moorgate Campus and worked toward designing solutions and specifying products that realised their vision.

Over three floors, we were asked to create spaces for a very diverse range of students to both study and relax in. The areas not only had to be agile but also adaptable as students worked alone and in large groups. Being a University health and safety was also a key factor in product selection.

We focused on creating flexible working environments, which were comfortable and inviting. Choosing the right colour was critical to their design, we worked to their brand colours and introduced interesting textures. The design allowed for a changing landscape, one in which the students could escape for personal quiet time or group together in large collaborative spaces.

All product used for this project was sourced specifically from UK manufacturers.
