Bensen is a furniture design and manufacturing group founded in 1981 by Niels Bendtsen. Along with his staff, Bendtsen designs and oversees production of an extensive line of furnishings.
Bensen Italy has started earlier this year to service the European market and produces new designs at its own facility in Italy. Bensen products offer a subtle type of luxury that eschews unnecessary embellishment and indulgent details. The Bensen aesthetic is restrained, refined, and timeless; asserting a sense of classic Scandinavian modernism and simplicity, but also a global contemporary design language based in the Italian culture of meticulous production and elegance. Sophisticated and elegantly detailed, Bensen can be easily used in a wide range of aesthetic environments and varying applications.

High Quality Materials
Bensen manufactures all their furniture using quality sourced materials like Walnut and Solid European White Oak sourced from sustainably managed forests which are FSC certified. Bensen purchases the highest quality wood veneers available from FSC certified sources in America and Italy. These are procured in small bundles that are carefully pre-graded and selected based on consistency of grain and colour. Bundles are then further inspected, sorted, and matched at Bensen to create the ideal veneer selection for each component of each product.
