Read more Art and Design in Helsinki, Cecilie Manz founded her own studio in Copenhagen in 1998 where she works with a range of clients such as Fritz Hansen, B&O and Iittala.
Cecilie Manz designs furniture, glass, lamps and related products, mainly for the home. In addition to her work with industrial products, her experimental prototypes and more sculptural one-offs make up an important part of her work and approach to the design field.
Her work in design has been widely recognized and she has received awards such as the Bruno Mathsson Prize (2009), Thorvald Bindesbøll Medal (2011) and the prestigious Danish Crown Prince Couple's Cultural Award (2014), to name a few.Read more
