The DA1 chair and the DA6 two seat sofa were conceived in 1946 with Heals of London as a series of easy seating for the modern home.

The DA series has a light anatomical construction providing exceptional comfort.

The upholstery is made using traditional techniques, covered in Kvadrat ‘Divina Melange 2’ fabric or customer’s own. Its frame and legs are steel rod frame and cast aluminium legs, clear matt lacquered or epoxy coated.

The DA1x Chair is the 150mm taller back, 60mm deeper version.
