Functional Acoustic Walls

Ahrend Living Wall is an acoustic functional feature wall system. It’s based on a concept where a 'living wall' really comes to life when used by office staff or students dependent on its placement. Frans van der Wielen designed the Living Wall for users to lean against, to have informal discussions at, have private calls or to sit on and to do some work at with laptops or mobile devices.

Ahrend Living Wall panels have a flexible layout, depending on the activity of the user. This gives walls a function and space that comes to life: Humanising_Spaces.

The advantage of Living Wall is that the dimensions of the modules are quite small. 800 by 400 mm. Besides the acoustic wall panels, one can specify the wall with a phone booth, bench, armchair or display shelf. The panels and furniture elements are upholstered in a soft layer of foam then covered by material.
